These savory, succulent, and delicious Filipino Pork Siomai or pork dumplings are one of my favorite snacks growing up in the Philippines. It was sold in the streets and mall food courts and it was cheap and a filling treat. Hope you enjoy this recipe 🥰

Instructions
Combine carrots (1 small), green onions (1 stalk), scallions (1 stalk), and garlic (4 cloves) in a food processor. Pulse until finely minced. Set aside
Combine ground pork (1 ½ lb), minced veggies, salt (½ tsp), pepper (1 tsp), oyster sauce (4 Tbsp), and eggs (2) in a mixing bowl. Mix.
Take a wonton wrapper and place 1 tablespoon of meat mixture in the middle of the wonton. Crimp the edges with your finger and secure them while leaving the top open.
Brush oil or on a steamer and arrange the siomai, leaving a bit of space in between them.
Steam under boiling water (medium heat) for 15 minutes or until fully cooked.
Serve immediately with soy sauce, a squirt of calamansi or lime juice, and chili garlic oil.
Notes
Notes
- You can also add ground shrimp for more flavor.
- Other recipes used flour or cornstarch. I never do since the meat has enough fat to bind it together.
