Homemade Filipino-Style Spiced Vinegar (a little sweet and spicy) to go with Filipino street food or any kind of grilled or fried meat and seafood.

Instructions

  1. Combine everything in a jar or container with lid and stir until sugar (1 Tbsp) is dissolved.

  2. Let it sit for at least 24 hours before use. The longer you let it sit the better it will taste.

Notes

  • Street vendors in the Philippines sometimes add chopped cucumbers.
  • Leave the chilis whole if you don’t like it spicy.
